It has been a busy summer for us. We have many changes that we have made and there are more to come this year. Here's a list of what's new for the start of school year 2010-2011.
- Student Promotion Module. You can now "Release" individual students or classes and then "Claim" them into another class, grade or even school. A screencast is on the way to show you how to use this module. Admins will need to assign each teacher to not only their "teaching schools" but also to "claiming schools" by selecting "edit" for each teacher. Claiming schools are schools that a teacher can claim students from. This makes it easy for Middle School Teachers to get students and their data that were released from Elementary Teachers.
- BMI Percentile. This is HUGE! We were granted access to the CDC's data tables and formulas for figuring out BMI Percentile. When you now enter information that formulates BMI, it will also produce a BMI Percentile score as well. This number is much more useful when looking at BMI. Most people understand the percentile score more than the BMI score. This is unique only to FitTrac so have fun using it. We will be putting it on the reports section soon.
- Popup interface. We have added new scripting to many features which allow popup windows to appear for you to enter information. Our continuous aim is to still keep everything at your command in a single page dashboard.
